Safari Lodge is located only 115 km from Guayaquil, but it feels like a completely different world. The road leaves the city behind and enters a landscape of mountains, rivers and cloud forest. At 1,000 meters above sea level, mist rises from the valleys and waterfalls appear along the cliffs.
This is the Cloud Forest of La Esperanza, one of Ecuador’s most untouched ecosystems—deep green, humid and alive with wildlife. The lodge is set in the mountains of Bucay, directly facing the Piedra Blanca waterfalls.
